I saw this item on Rachel Ray and Googled a search. I bought it for an adult who has problems with their hands and can not grasps items. This holder can be held using both palms. It is a great invention.

Those little popsicle sticks were hard for my toddlers to eat-- not to mention that I always wanted to put a towel in their shirt to avoid them being covered in ice cream. This thing is so fantastic-- easy to hold, and no mess everywhere.

We LOVE these. They make the treat easier to hold and manipulate for my toddler, who can grip it in both hands. They keep his hands clean; all the runoff goes into the Dripstick and not down his wrist. We also discovered how great it is to use for the rest of the family. One downside to frozen treats is you can't really put it down anywhere. This eliminates that problem, the stick is held firmly and the Dripstik stands upright on its end, so if everyone is having a treat, Mom or Dad can sit theirs on the table to attend to the kids, take a drink, or get extra napkins. I would maybe like to see the part that holds the stick lined, maybe in a rubbery material, to provide extra grip in case the child bites the stick (it will slide out if you pull a bit) but they're easy to use and really cut down the mess factor. Now I have no objections to offering my son a popscicle on a warm day.

I bought this for my grandkids (ages 1 & 3) and it really works! No more Popsicle drips down the little ones arms onto the carpet. Plus, they were always dropping the Popsicles before while trying to hold onto the little sticks. Now they just sit it down on the table when they need a break from licking it.
