Product Description This is the original scooter that started it all! Get your Razor A Scooter today. Its lightweight and convenient design make it great for recreation or commutes to work and school. Always wear protective gear.
Amazon.com Product Description The original kick scooter, the Razor A is a handy little ride for kids and teens alike. Though it'll never replace the internal combustion engine, the scooter will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one's shoes in the process. Plus, it's a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest. The Razor A is built of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Its T-tube and deck, meanwhile, fold up into a compact footprint, so riders can fit the scooter inside a bag or carry it at their side when riding isn't appropriate (it weighs around 6 pounds). And thanks to the 98 mm inline-style urethane wheels, ABEC 5 bearings, and patented rear fender brake, riders will always feel smooth and in control when kicking along the sidewalk. Recommended for ages 5 and older, this version of the Razor A sports red handlebars, a red deck logo, and red wheels, with a max rider weight of 143 pounds. It's also backed by a six-month warranty. For the next step up, try the Razor A2 Scooter. Key Features: - For riders ages 5 and older
- Sturdy aluminum construction
- Weighs approximately six pounds
- Retractable kickstand
- Rear fender brake
- Patented folding mechanism
- 143-pound user weight capacity
- Six-month warranty
The buyer and rider of the Razor A scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters.
Editorial Review The standard Razor scooter has stuck around long enough to safely move out of the realm of fad status. This slick model, constructed of aircraft grade aluminum, sports 98 mm urethane wheels with ABEC 5 bearings and a rear fender brake. To afford greater portability, it sports collapsible handlebars and folds neatly. Some might choose to own the Razor as a transportation option since it makes for a neat commuting supplement to public transportation or the school bus. But it's also just a neat little thing to have around the house for the occasional spin down the sidewalk or out to the local park. --Charlie Williams

$$BUY THIS SCOOTER!!!!!!!!$$ June 15, 2005 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
This is a really good scooter. You can drive it around and have a great time and have races and stuff. Its really durable except for the fact that it has plastic tires that dent easily if you slam on the brake (thats why i gave it 4 stars for durability). Its only $30 so BUY IT! U WILL HAVE FUN! By the way my scooter is not actually red its green. BUT OH WELL. If you are thinking about buying an a2 or a3, DONT! Alls they give you extra is shox and a whellie bar. but the shox dont hardly even work and the whellie bar gets in the way of the brake. there also more expensive so JUST BUY THIS ONE!!!!

This scooter is the best I rode. The ride is ssooo smooth. My old scooter was the sunkyest scooter. If you are buying a new scooter I recommod this. I give two thumbs up and 5 stars!!!!!!!!
Awesome scooter January 25, 2007 Vivian (You will never know! Bwahaha!) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this scooter for my birthday. It was shiny and red and I loved it instantly. I've also tested it against other, non-Razor scooters with my friends. It's faster than others, and it turns much more smoothly. However, there is one scooter that is more "stable" (easier to balance on) than a Razor. I don't know its name.
